Nice Condo is a values-driven design studio. We believe that furniture should be thoughtfully designed and well-crafted from long-lasting materials. We believe in the power of people working together. We believe in the strength of labor, the satisfaction of a job well-done, and the resulting objects that inspire mindfulness.  

OUR SERVICES

Nice Condo offers a catalog of residential furniture, brand identity services, as well as commercial fixtures, custom build-outs and creative partnerships. With a belief that furniture should be both smart and stylish (but never self-serious) and using inspiration from movements like Bauhaus, Brutalism and Memphis, each Nice Condo piece is both au courant and enduring.

ABOUT US

The studio is owned and operated by Chris Held and Sara Graham, partners in both life and business. Working in furniture design and fabrication for over 15 years, Held’s work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Dwell, Surface, Sight Unseen, Core77, and Nylon. Held is also the co-founder and curator of JONALDDUDD, an NYC Design Week exhibition. Graham has worked in print media and fashion as a writer, editor and marketing professional for almost 20 years prior to joining Nice Condo.

Our approach to sustainability is simple: investing in quality furniture means keeping it longer. There’s nothing more sustainable than that. A few other ways we keep our footprint small:

-Every piece is made to order in our Philadelphia studio
-We work exclusively with domestic hardwoods
-We use low-VOC wood-wax finishes
-We maximize material to minimize waste
